Nopers

  Well folks, it was a no…not that I said no but the fact that someone came back on the team. No biggy though.

Floor hockey wasn’t the only sport that was on my mind at some point in this week. Volleyball was too, just to let you guys know this will be my last post with word volleyball in it unless I play it again. The season is over because we went on are final tounrnoment.

We placed third over all…again but I’m not sure out of how many times. I think on the note it said that there would be 20 girls teams so that was actually pretty good. We made it to the semi-finals but lost to The Kodiaks. We beat them the first set but then a whole pile of people showed up and started cheering for them…as it siked? us out we lost.

But everyone played really well and I’m sure a lot of people can’t wait to get into highschool volleyball to become an even better player. Well that’s about it, thanks for reading!

Wabowden Tournament

   Yesterday we had a tournament in Wabowden; we took third place over all out of seven teams, which is really great for us. We all played very well and beat every team once except for Wabowden lol.

  Wabowden took first place and also played really well, the team is hoping that we get to play another team soon but I’m not to sure that is going to happen because one of are coaches is a teacher and can’t always be there at tournaments and practices.

  Other than that we did fantastic, we have only been at this for a couple of weeks and we have improved so much, I’m really happy that we got third place and I to hope that we get to play another team here in Snow Lake.

   Volleyball has always been a sport that I have liked because ever since I was little at my dad’s my sister and I would practice setting, she taught me only how to set, and I learned the rest in volleyball from the past two years…but three times from Frontier Games.

  I hope that next year more people join volleyball because I think that they would have a lot of fun just like are team, great job yesterday everyone!!!!!!!!

Wabowden- Two teams!

Another update headed your way, us junior volleyball girls are going to play TWO TEAMS from Wabowden. I was just wondering if we are going to start playing at around 3:00 and stop at 5:30 then how are we going to play two teams fi when we played one that was the time we started and ended? Wel I’m not sure if that makes any sense to you but it does to me lol.

In volleyball again people are improving, but something happened at last nights practice. When we were doing our serves Taiya spranged her ankle again. She had done it once beofre but it happend again due to her foot tipping to the side and I guess it twisted it weird. It sucks that she got hurt because she is really good and plus I’m posotive that she wanted to play againest Wabowden, I mean who wouldn’t?

Other than all the good and bad news around the shool things have been going pretty steady around here, everyone is very about the math test we have to take this afternoon and the L.A. assesments that we absolutely 100% have to do! I actually don’t mind doing the assesments because L.A. is my favorite subject. But when it comes to the math…well I’ll just stop there, have to go anyways silent readings alomst over…it only lasts about 25 mintues. Write later!

Upcoming

Pretty soon two teams from Wabowden are going to come here to play againest our volleyball team. So far the team has been doing pretty well and I think that we are going to do way better than we did the last time, everyone just keeps improving and gets better and better. But that’s what junior volleyball is really for, to make sure you know the right stuff in order to make the highschool team.

Next year me and Paige are going to try out for the highschool team, I’m sure that we are goig to make it on because almost everyone on our team is pretty good.

But I know I’m cutting this short but I have to go because silent reading is almost over, bye!

Cranberry Update!

We did so much better! It was really fun because we weren’t nervous anymore, so all of us gave our best. We didn’t win any games but we did loose to five, which was way better than last time seeing as how we lost with 25 to 6 ha ha. Well we are getting way better and I hope that we continue to improve.

We have some good players and with the learning’s of a good coach they can become even better. Well congrats to the team!!! Keep it up!

Volleyball In Cranberry

Todays the day that we beat the Cranberry team with all of our efforts :) We have improved so much since the last game, and I know that’s kind of hard to believe but we have. :P Everyone on the team is giving a little bit more effort and trying there best and we are all…no not nervous, but really really excited!

Today the weather is kinda chilly but that’s a good thing because the whole team is traveling in the school van. The thing about this van is that its new!!! I thought it was going to be the old junker one, which was the one we used last year but we got a new one, with an air conditioner that actually works but I don’t think that we will be needing it this time of year.

I’ll be sure to give you readers and update as soon as I get back, as long as my fingers don’t cramp from writing all these blog posts about volleyball. :P Wish us luck!!!

Volleyball Update

Well…here it goes, we didn’t do so well, well not well at all. We didn’t win one set because no one on our team was calling the ball. But throughout the game the coaches mixed us together for fun. What this means is they took some Cranberry players and some Snow Lake players and just mixed us into two teams, and we played together for the rest of the time.

Some good news is that we are going to Cranberry Wednesday and we are going to play them again, and hopefully we learn some more play before we go there.

Volley-Ball Tournament

My life has been pretty interesting since the last time I wrote a post, we found out that our volley-ball game would be switched a day earlier, that we are going to be playing from 2:30 to 6:00, and that we are going to have homework!

Yes I know it’s a lot but I’m sure that I will be able to get through it…hopefully. The first thing that I’m really scared and excited about is playing against Cranberry, they are only coming here for the day I’m hoping that they aren’t a pro team. As you should know by now I’m on a volleyball team, but only juniors. It’s been really fun so far but we’ve only had 5 practices and we have to play against another team already!

I have been playing for…I think this is my third year in volley-ball, and on are team there are some beginners, who I think are going to do really well today and throughout the season, but they are nervous like anyone should be for there first tournament. I mean come on even I’m nervous lol. Anyways, we are getting out early today so that we can go and play and I’m really hoping that we do well.

Cranberry is supposed to be just a beginner’s team; well that’s what we have been told. But my team from last year was pretty good and we couldn’t even beat them when they had just started out. Ugh I think I’m jinxing it but I haven’t been nervous until now and now I’m just kinda like freaking out here.
