What Truth is In My Opinion

The definition of truth is hard and easy to explain. Defining truth can be harder to explain for different people. To me truth can be a variety of things. It can be honesty, responsibliltes, and even the opposite…lieing. People lie to cover up the truth, so it is a part of truth. Being able to tell the truth can be rewarding, liberating, and relieving. Though you can lie about the truth and hide it, it can be a good thing. Someone can be hiding the truth for a good cause. So the defenition of truth to me is telling someone something that they have done, that can be good or bad. You can also hide the truth for good and bad reasons.
Everyone and anyone can lie and tell the truth. It is best to tell the truth in my opinion, but also I believe that sometimes you must lie, depending on the reason. Liberation; feeling releaved after telling someone the truth. Sometimes keeping things bottled up and away from people…and then telling someone can make you feel liberated.
Say someone told you a secret about another person, and didn’t want you to tell anyone. They are probably telling you because they have kept it bottled up for so long. You on the other hand have to then keep another secret among yours. Would you rather feel liberated or bottled up?
That is the choice everyone has to make when they find something out about anyone, from anyone. What would you do? What’s your opinion?
The defenition of the truth is not the only part in it, it is also what you yourself know to be true. One thing that I know to be true is that when I was 4 years old my parents broke up, and I know that was hard. I was little so it didn’t really affect me right at that moment. The first thing that I asked when they told me and my sister they were getting a divore was “what’s a divore?”…I didnt really get it. I didn’t know that we were going to up and move all the way to Canada; but when I did was when it started getting hard. And also when I leave my dad when I go and visit him…its very hard to leave; it gets to me because I know I won’t see him for another year.
So the truth can be more than just an explantion of the word…it can be what you know it true. What do you think is true??

You have given us a good definition of the truth, but you have not told us what you believe to be true about life. What is your truth? What are the things that you would say are true?

hey nice blog… i totally agree with your definition of the truth… but i have some questions about your blog. what do you believe to be true? what are some examples of truth? why do you think it is the truth? anyways great blog! =]

I really liked you post and it was preety amazing. I also liked the way that you explained it. So many little sentences can mean alot and there are lots of great reasons that you to it to be true. I also believe that there is no wrong or right answer. It all just depends on how well you describe it. I was suprised at how good you blog was well keep up the good work.

Hey! I agree with you on all of this that you have wrote about. I say this because truth is by not lieing to people, being responsible, and being honest. By saying the truth you can get rewarded, liberated, and trusted. I believe that this is all right also because it is better to say the truth rather than lieing because once you lie to a person that you have been knowing, they end up not trusting you and that is something that you dont want to lose from your siblings. To answer your question i would rather feel liberated because I do not like to lie to my peers i just feel that it is wrong to do such a thing. Nice job in writing your post.

what I think about your blog its great and has detail and I agree with you hundred percent if you lie some times it because you want to protect some one or it best for mean while but I think it always better to tell the truth because eventually when you lie people find out so it better to tell the truth and say what your feeling and not stay bottled up I would like to ask u a question are you writing about staying bottled up because it has happen to you before?

Hey just wanted to say good job on your blog. I understand and agree with a lot of things that you said. It’s very true that sometimes you have to lie in order to protect someone or back up someone. This sort of good because you show trust to the person that you helped keep the secret. But telling the truth is better than telling lies most of time. Even at times when you have to lie for a friend, it would be best to tell the truth it would be responsible, and being honest like you said. And you can you be trusted and liberated as well like you said too. What I think to be true is that people including myself should tell the truth instead of lying. That will not only show trust, but responsibility and other virtues. Nice blog. Keep up the good work.

I think you gave a really good definition of Truth.
It is really important for people to tell the truth from the start - it builds trust, and you feel better about yourself.

I liked your post on truth. I have been thinking about truth too–it’s not an easy subject. You are a very good writer and your thinking is clearer than a lot of adults I know.
