Science Fair

February 28th, 2008 by kdanielle

Every year Frontier School Division hosts a local science fair. This year my partner was Tiffany. We decided to do a project on the best laundry stain remover, though the project didn’t turn out so well we tried are best and ended up getting completely finished.

To do the project we cut large pieces of material and placed stains in boxes. We chose 5 different stain removers and used them all according to the directions. Every time before we would use a stain remover we would make predictions as to what would come out the best with the certain stain remover. We found out that by the end of our experimenting Sharpie marker would not come out whatever stain remover we chose to use, we also found out that liquids come out better than something solid.

By the end of our project we weren’t completely satisfied but we learned a lot, we also enjoyed that we could use what we learned during everyday life. Even while doing the project I ended up getting grape juice on our shirt, I’m looking forward to using the best stain remover in town which ended up being Spray N’ Wash Dual Power to try and get it out.

So that’s what has been going on lately in class and I hope that you are looking forward to seeing the next big project that’s coming up, Toodles.

    Hey Katherine,

I like your post because it narrows dowwn what your project was really about and what you guys did. It’s also did because you did put your faults in. Good job! And I didn’t think your project was bad at all ;)
