Science Fair
February 28th, 2008 by kdanielle
Every year Frontier School Division hosts a local science fair. This year my partner was Tiffany. We decided to do a project on the best laundry stain remover, though the project didn’t turn out so well we tried are best and ended up getting completely finished.
To do the project we cut large pieces of material and placed stains in boxes. We chose 5 different stain removers and used them all according to the directions. Every time before we would use a stain remover we would make predictions as to what would come out the best with the certain stain remover. We found out that by the end of our experimenting Sharpie marker would not come out whatever stain remover we chose to use, we also found out that liquids come out better than something solid.
By the end of our project we weren’t completely satisfied but we learned a lot, we also enjoyed that we could use what we learned during everyday life. Even while doing the project I ended up getting grape juice on our shirt, I’m looking forward to using the best stain remover in town which ended up being Spray N’ Wash Dual Power to try and get it out.
So that’s what has been going on lately in class and I hope that you are looking forward to seeing the next big project that’s coming up, Toodles.

Skye’s Back! =]
February 22nd, 2008 by kdanielle
Seeing as how we have a mini computer lab in are classroom I I figured that I should write another blog post today. It’s about my friend Skye, she just got back from her week long trip to Winnipeg with her Mom.
She was there because her mom is sick and she wanted to be with her. Before she left Sara and I thought that we should throw a going away supper for her at The Diamond Willow Inn, it’ like a sorta fancy restaurant is if you sit in fine dining. Anyways…back to Skye. We blind folded her and took her through fine dining, people kept looking at us but it was sooo funny I couldn’t help but laugh.
Well shes back now and even sitting about…err…3 steps away reading a Bone book. Let’s hope everything stays this way…toodles!

Finally Some Nice Weather
February 21st, 2008 by kdanielle
Good new ladies and gentlemen it is right now…about minus ten in the small town of Snow Lake, and everyone is enjoying it. If only we didn’t have school. After school today I think I’m going to try to get some people to go ski-dooing. Hopefully this time they will seeing as how nice it finally is.
So far this year I’ve only been ski-dooing twice but that’s because it’s been so cold out. My friend Logyn really needs to go ski-dooing she just hasn’t…I’m not to sure why either, guess she just never felt like it. So please people tell her to come!
Well silent…typing is almost over so i’d better get back to regular work. Toodles.

Long Time
February 11th, 2008 by kdanielle
Wow, are class hasn’t written blog posts in forever. It’s because we are working on some really big projects. I’m not sure when we are going to start writing again in class but I hope that we do, it just gives me something to do other than to do book work.
Well so far in my life nothing has really happened. Though tomorrow we are having a Valentine’s Day dance and I’m on Student Council so I have to set up for it but I hope it doesn’t suck. This weekend we had a long time off because of Frontier Games, which is a good thing. Did a lot of movie seeing with my friends.
In Snow Lake it’s cold, windy, and icy. And hopefully its going to warm up soon. I’m beginning to get sick of walking to school every morning in –30 or even colder. It gets old. Also in the great month of February it is I Love To Read month. But if we don’t read two books we don’t get to go sliding. Last year it was fun…got a couple face washes…you know the usual.
Well I’m gonna header. Hopefully I can sit myself down again and force myself to write a blog post.
Cya!
