My ITL Reflection

April 23rd, 2007 by kdanielle

1. What have you learned about your topic?

During this ITL project I have learned a variety of things; each thing that I have learned has been or will be useful to me in some way. Some of the things that I learned from doing this project are learning not only that you don’t have to be an adult to do these kinds of things, that  you can be kids just like us and do just as good as a job or even better. Another very important thing that I learned is that when we were working on the computer to make our video you learn how to use the software very well, and I think that that is a very good thing because its one of those things that will come of use to me in the future.

2. What have you learned about collaborating locally and internationally?

Even doing this project was an amazing thing to experience but one thing that made it even more amazing is knowing that we could have partners from all around the world and still be able to work with them, get their opinion, and ask them for their ideas. I think that because we had these resources that it helped us tremendously with our project, and to think of what the video might have turned out like without them to tell us what they think.

3.What would have made this project easier/better/interesting?

Everything during this project was handed to us on a silver platter, we got everything that we needed, computers, the right software, and great people to work with. So with all of the things that we needed and all of the little extra things that added up I honestly don’t think that anything could have made doing this project easier, better, or more interesting.

4 What have you learned about telling a story/combining/pictures/

music/video/text

I must say again that I have learned many things from doing this project, learning all of these things and learning how to use them will teach us that exactly. Telling a story isn’t as simple as you think, little red riding hood rode her bike down…you get the point, anyways when you are telling a story using this kid of equipment it makes it easier because you have more choices and with more choices your ideas come to a whole new level. Learning to use this  software includes learning about pictures, music, combining things, video, and text so learning to use this software has taught us all how to use them and taught us how they work and that’s all we need to know…for now.
