Taking a Good Picture and a Bad picture

September 26th, 2006 by kdanielle

Lately in class we have been discussing photography.  When our teacher Mr. Fisher first said that we were going to start photography I was very excited because that is one of my choices of what I would like to do when I was older.  So when you do take a picture you sometimes just want to take pictures of your family and friends and all the good times that you have had with them you would like to capture those moments.  But in our class we are taking pictures that express a mood, so we have to take a picture of something and then tell what mood it expresses.  But if you take a bad picture for example: If you are told to take a picture of a something that expresses a mood you shouldn’t be taking pictures of feet, your buddy’s, or your dog.  You should be taking a picture of a pattern, nature, and also man-made things.  We do this because when you do take a bad picture and then try to make it better by using effects it wont make the picture any better, you have to start off with a good picture and make it better if it needs to be.  So I have really liked doing photography even though we have just started it because I think that it is the perfect thing for me.

Do you think this is a good picture or a bad

picture and why?

What mood does this picture express to you

why?

Signed, Katherine
